Second Quality of Life World benefit concert, now for the Himalayas!
On Friday June 6th, Quality of Life organizes for the second time (after the successful performance 'Symphony for Amazonia' of last year) a benefit concert, performed by the 100 head strong Symphonic Orchestra of the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). This time the proceedings go to the Sarangkot Project in the Nepalese Himalayas. The location will be again the Church of H. Magdalena in Bruges where this evenement fits perfectly in the revaluation-project of this public space. The giant screen above the altar will be used for continuous projections of images of the Himalayas and it's inhabitants, in synchronisity with the performed music.
